Over the years employees of Cutco Corp. and its subsidiaries, Cutco Cutlery and Vector Marketing, have
supported many community organizations and causes, including the following:
Rebuilding Together
Beginning with its first project in 1992, Cutco employees have been coming together to help preserve and
revitalize homes in the community for the Rebuilding Together (previously the Christmas in April) program.
Company volunteers take part in painting, carpentry and other maintenance at the homes of families and
individuals in need.
Eastview Partnership
In 1989 Cutco employees extended a collective hand of partnership to the Eastview Elementary School,
one of the Olean City Schools a few blocks from the corporate headquarters. Through programs like
tutoring, job shadowing and character education, the Cutco-Eastview "Partners in Education Program" aims
to foster better understanding of the school system, enhance school programs and give students a chance
to develop skills that can help them succeed.
The Salvation Army

For more than 20 years employees and retirees of Cutco Corp. and its subsidiaries have supported The
Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, raising funds during the holiday season. Employees have been known
to donate as much as 340 hours of bell-ringing time at a local grocery store. Also during the holidays
employees of Cutco Corp., Cutco Cutlery and Vector Marketing donate money to the Toys For Children Campaign to
buy toys for needy children during the holidays. In 2006, employees donated over $2,200. With the company
matching those funds, Cutco Corp., Cutco Cutlery and Vector Marketing donated more than $4,400 worth of toys to
The Salvation Army.
March of Dimes
Walk America is the March of Dimes’ largest annual fund-raiser. In cities nationwide,
volunteers organize teams of people to gather walk sponsors’ donations. A Cutco team has been counted
among the thousands of volunteers across the country for many years. On more than one occasion the company
has been recognized by the March of Dimes for the amount of money its employees have raised and for their
outstanding participation.
Community Blood Bank
Employees of Cutco Corp., Cutco Cutlery and Vector Marketing donate blood twice a year during a Community
Blood Bank blood drive that is set up at Cutco headquarters in Olean, N.Y. It’s typical for employees to
donate as much as 50 to 100 units of blood at one of their blood drives.
